Dr. Ajeet A. Chikkamannur completed the B. E. Degree in 1988 from KU Dharawad, M. Tech.,(CSE) in 2001 and Ph.D. in CSE&ISE from VTU Belagavi. With more than 30+ years of Academic Experience, taught the subjects at Diploma, B.E. and M.Tech., level. One Research Scholar completed the Ph.D. work with Co-guide Dr. S. M. Handigund in the area of Software Design and Testing from VTU Belagavi. Six Research Scholars are pursuing Ph. D. in the area of Database Management, Multi-core Architecture, IOT, Fraud Detection and Data Science. The Book Chapter which is published by the Springer publications in 2019 is authored.

The 20+ years working as Head of the Department, experienced in the establishment of the Department, ISO certification, NBA, NAAC and Cultural Events. Work experience in students’ projects carried out in collaboration with ISRO, University of Agriculture Science organizations. In collaboration with students, the innovative ideas are applied for various funding agencies for Research grants.

Life member for the LMSITE and the member of Local Enquiry Committee (LIC), VTU Belagavi. The papers are published in Conference/Journals with International Repute. Some papers have got the “BEST PAPER AWARD”. Organized and attended the conferences, workshops, delivered the keynote speech and invited talks. Attended the workshops/conference conducted by the Infosys, TCS, NASCOM Industries to understand the pragmatic and ensuing knowledge.

Experienced as Dean Student affairs to understand and cater the needs of student to build their career. In sports, member of the District Hockey team for the State level Hockey Competition. Able to speak, write and read Kannada, Hindi, and English.
