Dr. Murali G is working as a Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, R.L.Jallapa Institute of Technology, Doddaballapur, Karnataka, India. He received Diploma in Computer Science from Department of Technical Education, B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and Ph.D. in the field of Mobile Ad hoc Networks from Reva University. He comes with 18+ years of teaching experience in various engineering colleges and around 2 years in Industry. His area of interest is wireless Networks, Data Mining, Algorithms, Database Management System, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He completed successfully completed a few research projects funded by KSCST and VTU.
He has taught more than 25 subjects to graduate and post graduate students and also has been a guide for around 40+ projects to both UG and PG students. He has received Research Excellence Award 2021 from Institute of Scholars (InSc) and has also received medal and appreciation certificates for securing 100% results in engineering subjects. He holds 5 patents, 7 International Journals, 20 national & International Conference Papers.
He has written the lab programs and solved question papers for the book “Microprocessor by Barry B. Brey”, of Pearson Publication in the year 2012, and received appreciation from the Pearson Publication.
He also has solved the question papers solving for the books “High Speed Network & Internet – by William Stalling”, and “Network Security Essentials: Applications and Standards (for VTU), 3/e – Stalling” of Pearson Publication, in the year 2011.
