Mr. Jagannath Reddy Pursuing Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with
specialization in Solar energy from National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT-Silchar)
and Post-graduation in Thermal Power Engineering from VTU Regional Centre- Gulbarga,
Karnataka, India. He has over 1 year industrial experience in the field of HVAC and 6 years of
teaching and research experience. Presently working as an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Mechanical Engineering, R. L. Jalappa Institute of Technology since August
2013. Areas of interests are Solar thermal systems, solar PVT systems, Solar distillation, Green
Manufacturing, wind energy, optimization techniques etc. Supervised 05 UG Projects so far.
Research contribution and published more than 10 research papers, 03 book chapters. The life
member of professional bodies like Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (India), solar
energy Research Society.
