About The Program

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at R L Jalappa Institute of technology is institutionalized under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. NSS is a voluntary and value-based student youth program. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands-on experience to young students in delivering community services and transform them into responsible citizens.

Mission

The youth encouraged in service of the people and educate them through community service by undertaking the institute core values as Honesty & Integrity, Empathy, Transparency, Freedom, Respect, and Collaboration.

Reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less service. NSS helps the students develop appreciation to other person's point of view and also show respect to other living beings.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆ (NSS)

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿತವಾದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಯುವಜನ ಸೇವಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಇಲಾಖೆ. ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಯವರ ಶತವರ್ಷವಾದ ೧೯೬೯ರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವು ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸೇವೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೂಲ ತತ್ವವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಲೋಕಸೇವೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತಹ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದು, ಹಾಗೂ ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪ್ರೇಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಗುರಿ:

NSS ನ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯ: "ನಾನಲ್ಲ ನೀನಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಾವು".

ಇದು ಪ್ರಜಾಸತ್ತಾತ್ಮಕ ಜೀವನದ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆ (NSS )ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು:

ಅವರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ಗುಂಪು ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವುದು.
ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಗುಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾಸತ್ತಾತ್ಮಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ತುರ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ವಿಕೋಪಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏಕೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
